After receiving the wrong item, I’ve tried numerous times to get in communication to arrange a return, I finally got a qr code to send said return and the locker was too small for the parcel that I was returning in original box. After two emails asking for another return code as I had to take the parcel home and repackage it in a parcel envelope, I’ve been completely ignored and left with over £40 worth of items that are wrong 😑 terrible communication from a business that packages itself on good quality items. So disappointing

I chose Mouse In A Box for my Maileg pre-order because my friend had ordered multiple times with no complaints. When I started to notice other online retailers selling these items, I contacted MIAB. My email received an automated response but, after a week, I still had no response. I tried Instagram. Nothing. I tried their online contact form. Nothing. I tried emailing again. Another automated response. Meanwhile, my friend emailed them, about her pre-order, and got a personal reply at 9pm the same day. After my second email, I received an automated email saying my order had been shipped. It arrived in good time, and was nicely packaged, but I had been sent a pink toiletry bag set instead of the fishing set. I immediately notified MIAB by email but, apart from the automated response, I heard nothing. It is still well within the timeframe given for replies (48 *working* hours) but I expected a more prompt response to this issue. Will I get the item I ordered? Maybe. Will I be expected to pay for return postage, for the incorrect item, despite it being their error? Maybe. Will I ever hear from them again? Maybe. I appreciate that delays and mistakes happen but the previous lack of communication means that I don’t hold out much hope of a resolution. I suspect I will be actually left out of pocket and will have to source it elsewhere. Needless to say, I won’t be ordering from MIAB again due to their absolute lack of customer care.
